Video Games Up For Latin Music

As a Latin person myself, its very unusual to hear one of your favorite songs in spanish on your fave video game. It just doesn't happen. But now, things may change. Game makers are understanding that the games go around the world... international.Newly announced games will prominently feature Latin music in their soundtracks. That includes EA Sports "FIFA Soccer 2009" and SEGA "Samba de Amigo" (a Wii music game). For example, the original recordings of Gipsy Kings' "Bamboleo" and Ozomatli's "Como Ves" are going to be featured in the Samba game, while the Pinker Tones, Senor Flavio, Plastilina Mosh and DJ Bitman are included in FIFA Soccer 2009.One of the pioneers to use that approach are the guys from Grand Theft Auto series,  where they include a Latin radio station in one of t...
